Activo-Med Combi Floor

The Activo-Med Combi Floor is an equine therapy floor that can combine controlled vibration with pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) and a convenient weighbridge – the only product on the market capable of combining all these options! It can be used for pre-warm-up and post-exercise, as well as for rehabilitation. The floor can even be used while tacking up, or carrying out tasks like clipping or plaiting.

The Combi Floor control box is pre-set to provide the right therapies for your horse, and you also have the option of setting up special programmes for certain horses if needed. The floor can be operated from mains power, or from a rechargeable battery making it both portable, and easy to set up in locations without easy access to mains power.

How it works
Vibration Therapy can be used to stimulate blood circulation throughout the body, and can be used to treat inflammation, speed up the healing process, reduce pain, and aid in the prevention of injury.

It can also be used to promote the development of muscle tone, and bone density, in performance horses. As it is a standing therapy, it can easily be used to treat horses on box rest or in rehabilitation routines. Complimentary PEMF and Vibration therapies are advantageous to healing and warmup. The convenient weigh bridge option is also a very popular choice.

Typical setup includes using the Activo-Med Combi Floor with overhead Solarium for preparation before riding or using the Activo-Med Treadmills.
