Julie Farrell, of NSW’s acclaimed Mulawa Stud, has been announced as the winner of Animal Therapeutics Online’s Win an Activo Med Therapy System’ Competiton.
This prize, valued at $6,499, is a first for Animal Therapeutics online customers, who were eligible to enter the draw by ordering an Activo Med Therapy System prior to 2pm on the last day of Equitana Australia 2012. Julie’s name was drawn out by sponsored rider, Olympian Hayley Beresford, in front of live feed cameras at Equitana.
Julie chose to receive an Activo Med Combi Pros system, which includes a combo-style dual therapy rug, combining cyclonic massage with PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field). Julie is already the owner of one Activo Med system, and could not be happier to receive a second system. “We absolutely love our Activo Med System, and use the rug at least once a day. We also purchased the set of four therapy boots, and they are often used twice a day on our horses. We just love it says Julie.”
Julie initially purchased her therapy system through Victorian agent, Sami Bell. Activo Med Therapy systems are imported directly from Germany exclusively by Animal Therapeutics, and are growing in popularity as more performance horse owners realise the benefits of the dual therapy system.
