Winning (again!) With Activo-Med!

22/08/2016

She’s done it again! Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro win individual gold at the Rio Olympics, with an outstanding score of 93.857% in the freestyle. The win comes as the pairs third gold medal, having previously placed first in both the individual and team dressage at the 2012 London Olympics. The win has once again earned Dujardin a position in the record books, as she becomes the first British woman to retain an Olympic title.

This was Dujardins second medal in Rio, with team Great Britain – a team including her trainer and fellow Activo-Med rider Carl Hester – taking out Silver in the team dressage. Team Great Britain were part of a large group of Activo-Med riders present on the podiums at Rio, highlighting the international popularity of the systems across a diverse range of disciplines.

Dujardin and Hester are both long term users of Activo-Med therapy systems, with Charlotte crediting her Combi-Pro rug with helping to keep her horses soft, supple, and at the top of their game:

“Valegro and Uthopia have the Activo-Med rug on every day which completely relaxes them throughout the treatment. These rugs to me are unique, as they enhance the performance of sports horses, keeping them feeling supple, flexible and recovered, which all helps them perform at their best in the arena.”

“The Activo-Med equipment is used all the time on my yard and at shows and helps keep the horses fit, relaxed and in top condition.”
