Bio:
Brett Parbery was born to ride, growing up in a family of devoted horse people in Dorrigo, NSW. His father professionally broke in and trained horses, with a focus on the cattle horse sports of campdrafting and cutting. From a young age Brett was involved in stable life helping his father ride and train the horses before and after school, and this led to him riding saddle broncs nationally and internationally from 1989 to 2000.
However, the love of training horses was still deep inside and two years before finishing his Rodeo career, he decided the world of Dressage would be his next challenge. Brett has gone on to claim countless Australian National Dressage titles and represent Australia at the 2010 and 2018 World Equestrian Games.
“The rug will go on all the horses before we ride them as a way to warm up and relax. Any horses working above advanced should look at the rug. These horses are working hard with a lot of collection. Any horse that’s being asked to train with that much intensity needs to have some help to recover and the rug offers that.”
